Wyze Cam live feed in Google Home app rolling out? Here's what we know

Wyze is a technology company that creates and manufactures smart home products and services. Its product line includes smart cameras, video doorbells, smart plugs, and more.

It has also become very well known among smart home fans for its competitive pricing, superior goods, and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Since the company has already set the bar quite high, it’s surprising that Wyze Cam live feed in Google Home app hasn’t been a thing until recently. It has been one of the most requested features by security cam owners (1,2).

Is Wyze Cam live feed in the Google Home app rolling out?

This function has been intermittently appearing for some users since last year but there is no official release date for the same yet (1,2). But this only applies to the Home app’s Preview version (isn’t accessible to everyone).

So, it is reasonable to assume that everyone will have access to the functionality once the stable version is launched. It stems from the fact that it has already been made accessible in the preview version for months now.

Moreover, a few Reddit reports confirm that some people can access the live feed on Google Home Preview. You can see the image attached below for reference:

The only issue is that Google has been testing the updated Home app for several months without a set release date. So the remaining users who want to utilize this feature will have to wait indefinitely or join the beta version.

Having said that, we hope that the team confirms the release of the stable version where all Wyze Cam owners can see the live feed in the Google Home app.
