League of Legends: Wild Rift enjoys a decent reputation in the mobile gaming arena. This game is free-to-play and offers uncompromising gameplay.
The game is also about to get a new patch with version 2.3 that’d bring Irelia to the Rift.
Well, things were moving smoothly until recently. Wild Rift players haven’t been able to play the game in hours due to a weird prompt message in the game.
As reported by the players, Wild Rift throws “Repeat ready check fails punishment notice” while playing the game.
@wildrift
Hi, I am having issues with repeat messages and punishments. Also, constant lag before I join games and loading icons. Is this a thing now?
The game won’t let users proceed into the game and even if it starts for a bit, gets back at players with the same error message again after some time. Below is the actual error message.
Leaving or abandoning a match results in a negative experience for your teammates and is a punishable offense.
You have been temporarily restricted from matchmaking.
Being available on both Android and iOS, this issue may impact users on both platforms. However, we are yet to get a confirmation on that.
Bugs like these usually break the gaming streak and put the game on a halt for a long time. That’s exactly the cause of frustration for many.
But well, Riot Games, the publisher and the developer of Wild Rift, quickly spotted the rising surge in reports of repeat ready check fails punishment notice and released a statement. Here’s what it says.
Hey there! We are aware of the Wild Rift issues and are actively working on a fix. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you!
This may bring some relief to the players and we really hope developers find the root cause and filter this bug out.
From what we know from experience, these bugs don’t last longer than a couple of days, weeks in the worst case.
In the meantime, users can head here to raise individual tickets and help Riot Games identify the behaviour.
That said, we will continue to keep an eye on this one and post here as soon as there’s more development.
