Just in case you’re trying to wrap your head around why your Vodafone UK network service isn’t working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing such issues.
A quick look at micro-blogging site Twitter reveals that there are many others affected by the same. Going by reports, there appears to be an outage in the north-eastern regions of the UK.
For a quick glance, here’s how some of the complainants word the problem:

There are also reports of downtime from London so many more regions could be affected.
While complaints have mostly been posted within the last 3 or 4 hours, some users have stated that they’ve been unable to avail network coverage for the entirety of last night.
Downdetector – a popular service that gives information about live outages – also conveys that Vodafone UK is indeed going through a glitch as can be seen in the image below.
While the initial spike has now dropped considerably, there still are fresh reports emerging which indicate that the issue has not been addressed completely.
Thankfully, Vodafone stated on Twitter that they’re already working on a fix for the outage.
They also shared a rather simple workaround that may be of help – simply toggle between the airplane mode. This might help trigger a connection.
That said, we’re keeping tabs on related developments, and will update this page with relevant info when we come across any. So in case you’re encountering the problem discussed here, stay hooked for updates.
