Vodafone Germany offers several Android smartphones that might get the Android 11 update. But before we check out the list of Android 11 eligible devices from Vodafone in Germany, you may want to check out a few details surrounding the release of Android 11.
This upcoming OS update was expected to be announced at Google’s I/O event in May. But citing the Coronavirus outbreak, Google device to cancel the in-person event. Instead, it released the update with a short announcement post on Reddit.
As expected, the Pixel series were the first phones to get the Android 11 beta 1 update barring the Pixel and Pixel XL. OnePlus then became the first non-Google Android OEM to release the beta for its flagships. And OEMs such as Oppo, Realme, and Xiaomi also released the beta not much after.
Thanks to other OEMs also joining in, by the beginning of July, the Android 11 beta update was available on 13 devices from 7 vendors. Since then, a few other devices have also bagged the beta version such as the Tecno Pouvior 4.
So it’s good to see more OEMs begin to take Android OS updates seriously. That being said, it’s now time to check out the Android 11 eligible devices offered by Vodafone in Germany.
