Vivo X30 Pro came out in December 2019 with Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. We reported earlier that the Android 10 based Funtouch OS 10 beta update was out for the device. It seems that the OEM is now pushing the stable Android 10 (Funtouch OS 10) update to Vivo X30 Pro in China.
The information came from Weibo, which is China’s Twitter equivalent. However, no official announcements have been made about the stable update yet. While Vivo took some time with its Android 10 update, it’s much better than pushing out buggy updates.
Some Vivo X30 Pro users have been using the beta update while others were waiting for the stable Android 10 based Funtouch OS 10 update. This update appears to be worth the wait for those who didn’t want to try the beta.
It seems only natural as beta updates are meant for testing and not everyone can use one as a daily driver. Also, the whole idea behind these updates is to get as much data about bugs and issues as possible while there are other aspects to them as well.
Since Vivo is yet to make an official announcement, it is still unclear whether the latest Vivo X30 Pro update is just another beta or the stable version. Nevertheless, we’d like to believe that it is the stable version but we’ll update this story in case some other development arises.
