Vivo V20 SE came out in October 2020 with Android 10-based Funtouch OS 11 and the wait for Android 11 has been on for the device in question ever since.
The Vivo V20 series offers flagship-level devices including the Vivo V20 and V20 Pro 5G that currently run Android 11.
Now, the wait has finally come to an end for Vivo V20 SE users as the Android 11 update is finally rolling out to the said device.
The latest OS update version 6.71.0 weighs 3.59 GB in size and offers a bunch of improvements over Android 10.
Some major system changes include notification history, chat bubbles, and chat prioritization along with other Android 11 goodies.
However, it is unclear whether the OEM in rolling out the OS update in stages or on a wider scale already.
It must be noted that Vivo V20 was the first Vivo device to offer Android 11 out-of-the-box whereas Vivo V20 Pro 5G bagged the OS update back in December 2020.
On the other hand, Vivo is also working on its OriginOS update based on Android 11 for a bunch of Vivo devices.
It is, however, not known when the OriginOS update is going to be out for the Vivo V20 series devices.
Nevertheless, it is still good to see that the OEM is steadily upgrading its eligible devices with the latest OS update.
That said, we will keep tracking the development of Vivo Android 11 update and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
