Joe is being deceptive. Here's the actual context. Pewdiepie laughs because the guy runs up and shoots a player that's in the middle of telling Pewdiepie how much he means to him, cutting off the nice speech. pic.twitter.com/E6vYe9fkG3

NOTE: For all latest, breaking news related to PewDiePie, other YouTubers, and YouTube in general, head here.
Update (December 17):
The Ubisoft employee in question has reportedly been fired. Details here.
Original story follows:
PewDiePie’s anti-Semitic channel shout out controversy is refusing to die. It all started when popular tech publication The Verge published a story highlighting how the Swedish YouTuber gave a shout out to another YouTube channel that uploads videos with anti-Semitic stuff.
PewDiePie was quick to acknowledge that this might have happened due to their lack of knowledge about that channel – they even removed the shout out reference from their video.

But the fire that got ignited due to this controversy is refusing to die.
A couple of days back, we told you how a BuzzFeed News reporter tried to drag PewDiePie into a new controversy, but failed. Then yesterday, we highlighted that another journalist said some distasteful things about the YouTuber.
Here’s what the BuzzFeed reporter had tried to highlight and the response to what they uncovered:
And here’s what popular video game journalist Danny OβDwyer has been saying about PewDiePie recently.

And now, it has come to light that a Ubisoft employee has urged gaming industry “to end” PewDiePie, and cut ties with him. Dianna, who works with the Ubisoft Massive team on The Division made these comments in a tweet:
Enough is enough.

Gaming Industry: I'm going to need you to end this dude. You know EXACTLY who you are.
Cut ties with him... NOW.

Here is her follow up tweet in which she says PewDiePie can’t be termed as a comedian or satiric.
Its important to call out consistent shitty behavior from folks who consistently act shitty

Excusing his actions desensitizes people to ignorance & hate.
Saying hes a comedian is being ignorant to what comedians do.
Saying hes being satiric is being ignorant of what satire is.
She also went on to say that people should not support racist and Nazi supporting personalities.
Are we forgetting everything else he's done? Oh I forget that was a joke as well.
— Dianna | #BlackLivesMatter (@GrlpantsGR) December 11, 2018
Dude, stop protecting garbage people. If you're perfectly ok with supporting racist and Nazi supporting people than, embrace it.
This is the wrong hot take.
Like pretty much every PewDiePie critic out there, Dianna also pointed out the affect PewDiePie and his shout outs have on the 75+ million follower-ship he has on YouTube alone.
Also, youre from LA, bro. You're in the US. You know there's been a rise of White Supremacists and hate crimes towards people of color, LGBTQ, Jews, and other marginalized people.
— Dianna | #BlackLivesMatter (@GrlpantsGR) December 11, 2018
you're perfectly OK with this dude promoting the above with no consequences to minors?
PewDiePie is yet to comment on this development.
