In November, the Pokemon Sword & Shield game was released on Nintendo Switch. But this holiday season, two new Pokemon games have been released for fans on Facebook. Games that have been released on Facebook include the following: Pokémon Tower Battle” and “Pokémon Medallion Battle.”
Pokemon Tower Battle is quite an interesting and fun game. Players can enjoy this game against a friend or any random stranger through online matchmaking. The game mechanics are quite simple & it requires players to drop Pokemon one by one & build a tower. While dropping the Pokemon, whichever player breaks the balance of Tower will lose the game.
Pokémon Medallion Battle is a card battle strategy game. However, this game is only available in the Asia-Pacific region currently. The game features 6v6 battle with various boosts up & badges. Players can also evolve Pokemon with the help of candies.
In the game, trainers collect, battle, and evolve Pokémon in medallion form and embark on a journey with their companions to win gym badges and complete their Pokédex. Players can also discover new Pokémon–introduced every month–to create even better decks.
We are excited to launch two new entries in the Pokémon franchise on Facebook Gaming,” said Tsunekazu Ishihara, CEO, The Pokémon Company. “Launching these games through Facebook will allow people all over the world to experience Pokémon in digital form, and we are especially thrilled to collaborate with Facebook Gaming in enabling new audiences to enjoy Pokémon games online.”
If you want to play the game, you need to hit the Facebook Gaming Tab. Well, it has been such a great year for Pokemon Fans as many new Pokemon Games have launched this year, including Pokemon Masters & Pokemon Sword & Shield.
Apart from that, a new feature has been introduced in Pokemon Go, and it is called Buddy Adventure. This new feature allows Pokemon to follow the trainer on the overworld map. Players can also play and feed Pokemon.
