We all know that Twitter has been making headlines ever since Elon Musk took over the micro-blogging site. There have also been a number of attention-grabbing developments too.

While some of them have been well-received, others were outrightly rejected or criticized by the users. The new Twitter font was one of the updates that received enormous backlash.

And now, a number of Twitter users (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) are complaining about a recent bug that is making the images look weirdly zoomed in or cropped on the mobile app.

It seems that every time someone clicks on a tweet with a picture, it shows up super zoomed in, and giant. Owing to this, the photo/image in question appears quite pixelated.

The bug is making it difficult to see the images properly. It sometimes leaves them unable to comprehend what they’re looking at.

One even claims that any picture that is in the landscape mode is automatically cropped into a portrait mode with an odd zoom-in. You can see the screenshot attached below for reference:

It’s worth noting that a similar issue caused a significant backlash a while back. According to reports, ‘full-size image previews’ was replaced by the new ‘cropped image previews’ option.

Although it was soon fixed by Elon Musk in mid-January, it appears that the bug has crept up again.

We’re still unsure if the same feature has been reinstated, but if it has, we hope the team rolls it back at the earliest.
