Tower of God is a South Korean webtoon that comes under the action & dark Fantasy genre. It has been authored by Lee Jong-hui who is also known as SIU. The success of the Tower of God can be measured by the number of views it collected worldwide.
Until February 2020, it has garnered 4.5 billion views, making it one of the most read Webtoon. Coming to the anime, it has been produced by Joseph Chou & directed by Takashi Sano. Telecom Animation Film has made it & Crunchyroll has obtained its license.
Well, apart from the episode fans are loving the opening (Top) & ending song (Slump) of the anime. Its Korean version has been sung by the Stray Kids band which consists of the following eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. For a quick refresher, in episode 1 of TOG, we see Bam enters the mysterious tower to find her friend Rachel. She means a lot to him, and he wants to bring her back such that he can spend time with her once again.
But on the first floor of the tower, he encounters Headon, who gives him a test where he needs to break the ball placed in the chamber occupied by a monster, White Steel Eel. Well, with his courage, determination & little help from Yuri, Bam manages to break the ball. Now, he is on the second floor, where his new test has already started. It will be interesting to see, how things unfold in the next episode and how Bam survives the second-floor test.
