However, it seems that these ‘ghosts’ are actually generated based on objects or elements present in the focused area, which the filter algorithm confuses with subjects. For instance, it could interpret a towel as a human’s long hair.

By mistakenly detecting a subject in the image, the filter will generate a manga-style figure of a person or animal based on it, even though no one is actually there.
