Batwoman fans, we have bad news for you. With the current coronavirus pandemic throwing the world into the crisis, production houses across the world are taking a crushing hit. And so are fans, with regular updates on delays and cancellations across the world.

According to reports, the latest victims to this are DC’s Batwoman and Supergirl live-action series currently running on American network The CW. New episodes of these two Arrowverse franchise shows that were expected to run March 29 onwards, are now delayed.

To cope with the change in programming across the network, and production delays, The CW is now going to rerun old episodes. Therefore, Batwoman will air a rerun of ‘A Mad Tea Party’ and Supergirl will air a rerun of ‘Back From The Future Part Two’ on the scheduled Sunday night programming slot.

On the bright side, Batwoman has been made available to stream for free on The CW across the USA, as per it’s official Twitter handle.

Batwoman and Supergirl are not the only shows on The CW affected by programming delays. Flash from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has also been delayed. As per statements released by the network last week, these shows are expected to return to their normal programming by April 7.

Although, this remains unsure for now. Meanwhile, the network will be showing reruns of the previously broadcasted episodes of its cross over event to fill the slots.

Going by WikiFandom, “The “Arrowverse” is a television franchise that is based on characters that appear in publications by DC Comics. It involves the stories running across several shows on The CW network.

Supergirl is a live-action adaptation of DC Comics’ character, Supergirl, for American television, which began airing on CBS on October 26, 2015. It’s on its 5th season currently.

One the other hand Batwoman is a television series based on the DC Comics character with the same name starring Ruby Rose. It is currently in its very first season on The CW.
