TalkTalk is an Internet and TV service provider that has been operating in the United Kingdom for over 20 years. The company boasts of offering service plans with a high quality/price ratio.
Customers require TalkTalk TV Boxes to access the channels offered by the contracted plan, but an issue is causing the time on these devices not to update to British Summer Time (BST).
TalkTalk TV Boxes not automatically updating to British Summer Time (BST)
Every last Sunday in March at 1 a.m, UK residents must put their clocks forward 1 hour (changing from GMT to BST). Later, at 2 a.m. on the last Sunday of October, they must turn the clock back 1 hour.
These time changes (to BST and back) should happen automatically on devices like TalkTalk TV Boxes, but multiple reports indicate that this is not happening, and they are currently running 1 hour behind (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).
YOUVIEW BOX NOT CHANGED TO BST
My Huawei Youview box has not changed itself to BST. The program guide is still showing GMT times. I have tried rebooting the box, and a factory reset, but this hasn’t resolved the issue. I don’t recall this happening before.

TIME ON MY TV BOX GUIDE TIME HAS NOT CHANGED WHEN THE CLOCKS WENT FORWARD THIS MORNING
Hi. my box ‘guide is still on the winter time. It should have changed at 2am this morning when the clocks went forward to British summer time. As this is normally done automatically, I can’t see a way to change the time.

This issue can cause a lot of confusion among users when trying to schedule to watch shows. After all, on their TV they will be watching shows whose original schedule is different.
The TalkTalk team is already aware of the issue and working to resolve it. However, there is no ETA for a fix yet.
We’re aware that some TalkTalk TV Boxes have not automatically updated to British Summer Time (BST). This is causing an hour difference on TV programmes.
Our engineers are working on this as a priority and we will update you here with more information.
