T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy Watch users have a new software update available to download, more than six months after the previous update rolled out to the smartwatch.

It was in June 2019 that T-Mobile pushed a software update to both 42mm and 46mm Galaxy Watch units with One UI graphical enhancements. Since then, other regions have received new updates on the watches, but folks on the Magenta carrier have had to wait until now.

Arriving as software version R805USQU1CSL2 or R815USQU1CSL2 depending on the model you have on your wrist, the update brings a new One UI 1.5 skin that bundles a bunch of new watch faces, Bixby 2.0, and enhancements to the S Health, among other stuff.

As noted, the One UI 1.5 update had already rolled out in other regions. It first appeared in mid-November 2019 before popping up again around Christmas time last year. Earlier this month, more regions picked up the new software.

Below is a summary of the changes you get on your T-Mo Galaxy Watch after the new One UI 1.5 update:

– UI graphical element changes (UI 1.5)
– S Health enhancements (Outdoor swimming trajectory & distance enhanced. Auto-session calorie logic added. Heart rate calorie calie logic added.)
– Updated to Bixby 2.0
– New watch faces

It is an airborne update, meaning some T-Mobile Galaxy Watch units will receive the OTA download notification ahead of others, so don’t fret in case the update hasnt arrived on your end.

Matter of fact, we are yet to come across reports of actual OTA rollouts, but since T-Mobile already updated the official software update page, it’s enough proof that the update is out there.
