OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone giant, is one of the few companies which offer value for money devices. It’s a given that OnePlus is fan favorite brand due to this very reason. Company’s previous launches, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 recieved a very positive response from the fans.
And now, OnePlus 7T is on the verge of achieving the same.
OnePlus 7T is a slightly improved version of OnePlus 7 Pro. In terms of performance, the phone uses a Snapdragon 855+ chipset which has a 15% faster graphics rendering compared to Snapdragon 855 used in OnePlus 7 Pro. It also features a Fnatic Mode dedicated for the gaming fanatics.
OnePlus 7T supports Warp Charge 30T which is 23% faster than Warp Charge 30. As claimed, Warp Charge 30T can charge the device to ~70% in 30 mins.
It houses a Triple Rear camera setup, 48MP main shooter 16MP wide-angle camera and a 12MP 2X telephoto camera for long-range photography coupled with OIS+EIS image stabilization. The front camera is an impressive 16MP shooter.
Surprisingly, OnePlus decided to pack OnePlus 7T not only with a smaller battery 3080mah, but also a lower display resolution of 2400 x 1080 Pixels 402ppi. It kind of justifies the lower battery size, as lower resolution would contribute to less battery consumption.
But, it still doesn’t make sense as to why a company would lower the specifications of a device which they introduce to the market as their latest flagship. Maybe pricing it lower than OnePlus 7 Pro played a factor. For those who are wondering, OnePlus 7 Pro has a 40000mah battery and display resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels 516ppi.
OnePlus 7T was launched in India on September 26 and is priced starting from Rs.37,999.
The OEM is now focused on its US launch. OnePlus USA made an offiical announcement through its twitter handle which revealed OnePlus 7T product release through its exclusive partner T-Mobile on october 18. OnePlus has priced OP7T in the US starting from $599.
