But moving ahead, Adobe will stop updating & distributing the Flash player at the end of 2020. Adobe has also asked the content creators to migrate any existing Flash content to new formats. A lot of businesses & company revolves around Flash, Adobe has also suggested those companies to migrate before the support for the Flash ends.

However, Adobe will continue to support Flash on a number of major OS & browsers that currently support Flash content through the planned EOL. As far as the date is concerned, the shutdown will be done on December 31, 2020. Apart from this, there are rumors that Coolmathgames will shut down as it is based on Flash technology.

Well, that is not true, as Polygon confirmed with Coolmathgames regarding the shutdown. In an official response, Coolmathgames have said that concerns are majorly related to old Flash Games. The company will convert those games to HTML5 to make them stay operational. So the rumors related to the shutdown of Coolmathgames are not true.
