Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Battlepass & Gear system receive negative feedback

The much-anticipated game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an action-adventure game set in the Arkhamverse.

It will let players choose from one of the four antagonists including Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark. Also, a 15-minute gameplay clip was recently released accompanied by interviews with the creators.

In that teaser, it was confirmed that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will include the controversial Battlepass and Gear System.

But the gamer community (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) seems to be quite displeased with this announcement and has taken to various social media platforms to express their disappointment, especially about the Battlepass.

Some believe that this is a somewhat unoriginal shooter game (1,2,3,4) as it hasn’t really got anything new to offer. While others feel that with the option of single-player, Suicide Squad didn’t really need to add a Battlepass (1,2).

Reports suggest that gamers also feel put off by the live service elements. To make matters worse, the implementation of the Gear score system is further infuriating the fans.

It was also revealed that all gear will be upgradeable. And the higher gear score will help players find the better-suited weapons, but they still don’t find it appealing (1,2,3,4,5,6).
