[Updated: Aug 27] Splitgate investigating Season 0 Battle Pass bug where players aren't receiving rewards & cursor issue on Xbox

Splitgate has been out for more than two years, but its recent console release and open beta have given the free-to-play shooter a new lease of life.

The game has now gotten its first new season of content after the early access launch. It has been dubbed ‘season 0’ and adds a whole new map called Karman Station. Along with this, you also get the new Contamination mode.

But of course, what’s a new season on any game without a new Battle Pass? On Splitgate, the season 0 Battle Pass has 100 Levels of brand-new items that are exclusive to the Pass.

Not all is rosy with the new patch though as there have been reports of a couple of new problems as well. We have covered these below.

The new Battle Pass is apparently riddled with issues. Some players report that they are not getting the Battle Pass drop even after playing a round and then rejoining it.

Other than that, there are scattered reports about not being able to use skins other than the ones given instantly by the Pass. This issue, however, isn’t really a bug since some skins have locks on them and can only be unlocked later.

Anyone else not getting the free items out of the battle pass once you unlock them?

However, there are multiple complaints about even unlocked items and not rewards not being received. Such items are free through the Pass. Several players have said that they haven’t gotten any rewards whatsoever even after making it to higher levels.

While a few have managed to work around the problem simply by restarting the game or waiting for a while, sometimes even up to a week, not everyone is so lucky.

Thankfully, Splitgate has now acknowledged the bug that causes Season 0 Battle Pass rewards to not get received saying that they’re doing some troubleshooting on their end to nail the problem and that all items are safe.

Several Splitgate players on Xbox are running into trouble when using a keyboard and mouse where the cursor becomes invisible upon going into the game menu.

The issue does not prevent interaction with the game entirely but does make it harder to navigate through menus.

1. Launch the game on Xbox one with keyboard and mouse and get to the main menu.
2. Select Play > Casual > Play > Vote any map > Proceed into gameplay.
3. Press Esc.
4. Observe the mouse cursor is no longer visible.

Anyone else having issues with playing with multiple monitors? My cursor keeps going to my other monitors in game.

Thankfully, this one has now also been acknowledged. An ETA for a fix wasn’t given but Splitgate did say that the problem should be resolved ‘soon.’

IST 12:43 pm: Splitgate is pushing out a bug fix update that is set to address this issue and below is the changelog.

Bug Fixes!

– Bundles purchasing bug is now fixed on PlayStation. Restart your game to receive your items
– BP items that were missing despite hitting the level have been backfilled
– Rumble games in certain regions no longer kick you
