Spectrum is a popular internet and wireless services provider in the United States with millions of subscribers.
However, subscribers are facing an issue where they are unable to connect their PlayStation with the Spectrum WiFi network.
As per recent reports, multiple Spectrum internet users are facing the PlayStation connectivity issue.
While it is unclear what the exact cause of the problem is, it appears to be affecting Spectrum subscribers on a large scale.
Users have tried resetting their PlayStation along with rebuilding the database but the issue still persists.
Also, a user has reported that changing the primary and secondary DNS to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 respectively solves the issue.
Moreover, this workaround appears to be solving the WiFi connectivity issue for several users, however, it is not a permanent fix.
This further indicates that Spectrum or Sony will have to provide a proper fix for the said issue on a larger scale.
Go to Network then click Set Up Internet Connection, choose the usual WiFi you normally use, pick Custom, choose Automatic for everything but the DNS option. Change DNS to 1.1.1.1 for primary and 1.0.0.1 for secondary.

The official Ask Spectrum Twitter handle has been responding to affected users by stating that they are aware of this issue.
Furthermore, Sony and Spectrum are working to resolve this issue and affected users may not have to face the problem for long.
Hopefully, the service provider and tech giant addresses the connectivity problem soon as it has been causing inconvenience to users.
That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
