Sling TV has gone down for all users and there have been a bunch of complaints doing rounds on social media. The outage had reportedly begun over 8 hours ago and has still not been addressed.
And it’s not just the streaming service that’s down as there are also several complaining that they’re unable to make changes to their subscription as the sling.com site is down as well.
Upon visiting the site, all you get is a page devoid of any data other than the header and footer, regardless of what browser is used. The sign-in page may also throw a 12-47 error.
I re-started Sling TV a few days ago and now I’m having trouble signing into my account on the web. It either returns me to the sign-in page or reports a 12-47 error. @slinganswers – help!

A visit to the Sling TV status website does indeed confirm that the service is experiencing an outage and that both the service and website are down.
If you are one of the users affected by the downtime, then you will be relieved to know that the issue is a known one and that Sling TV has already given out an acknowledgment.
@Dragos Hello there! We are currently experiencing technical issues but are already working on a resolution. I do apologize for the inconvenience. -FG

Yep, as clear from the above, the services are experiencing “technical issues” but the dev team is already working on a resolution.
Being a server-side issue means that there’s little to nothing that can be done from your end to resolve the issue so all you got to do now is to wait for Sling TV to sort this mess out.
As always, we will continue tracking the matter for further developments and update this article accordingly, so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
