Skrillex, Fred Again, and Four Tet, three of the biggest names in electronic music, recently revealed that they will be performing live in New York this coming Saturday, February 18.
This show will mark the trio’s debut at Madison Square Garden and the tickets for the same went on sale on February 15, 2023.
What’s even more surprising is the fact that the concert tickets sold out in a few minutes. Skrillex took to Twitter and confirmed that MSG tickets indeed took only 3 minutes to get all sold.
Skrillex Fred Again MSG expensive resale tickets after Ticketmaster presale disappointing
However, this hasn’t really gone down well with the fans (1,2,3,4,5,6). Apparently, they are disappointed that the Ticketmaster presale lasted only a few minutes, hence resulting in expensive resale tickets on other sites.
Some fans are convinced that it is indeed Ticketmaster that purchased all of their own tickets/seats in 20 minutes and is currently befooling them.
Fred Again fans should form an alliance with Swifties and the Beyhive to take down Ticketmaster
Who actually got tickets to MSG? Looks like bots snapped up floor seats in a split second. Now they’re going for $349 minimum on stubhub! Ticketmaster sucks!

This incident also takes us back to the time when we saw the scalping and touting of Taylor Swift tickets after the Ticketmaster presale. Moreover, Morgan Wallen fans witnessed a similar fate.
It makes things obvious as to why some have even pointed the finger at Ticketmaster’s bots. Therefore, to get rid of scalpers, fans are requesting or demanding a resale price cap or a resale platform from Ticketmaster itself.
It is nonetheless disheartening to see similar events unfold during the Skrillex Fred Again MSG presale on Ticketmaster. It also makes some fans question if Ticketmaster bots are responsible for the expensive resale of presale tickets.
Needless to say, Ticketmaster desperately needs to monitor resale ticket prices to determine whether they are affordable for concert goers.
