Samsung’s skin on top of Android, One UI, is one of the most comprehensive Android experiences you could get today from any smartphone. The company has put all that it learned through the years of experience from skins like TouchWiz to offer a full-feature experience.

For users that would like to dial up their One UI customization to eleven, Samsung has them covered with Good Lock. For the uninitiated, Good Lock is an app from Samsung that lets users customize any aspect of their Samsung experience from the clock screen to edge lighting effects and everything in between.

Essentially, Good Lock is any power user’s dream come true. Behind the versatility of Good Lock are the various supported modules and today, thanks to a post on Samsung Korea’s Community Forum, we know a few details on the upcoming builds.

From the moderator, it is apparent that the current version of Good Lock has enjoyed a rather decent review. This, based on the feedback from users to the development team. Key’sCafe-We are developing with a keyboard function that is really satisfactory, but there are many bugs and we are struggling with stabilization. We expect as early as October.
-The theme park linked to the kids cafe will also be released.
Good Lock Routine> Bixby Routine has evolved into a routine that graduated, and we are going to provide a Good Lock plug-in with Routine Plus with some thirsty features to include in the official version. (Within October)

Also notable from the announcement is that Wonderland is supported in Android 10. This means that when it finally rolls out, it will be supported by Samsung devices running One UI 2.X.

This upcoming Good Lock update is set to be pretty consequential.

From the statement, it appears as though development for most of these Good Lock module update for the Galaxy Fold is progressing a little slowly. This, the moderator points out, is because the team is still working to iron out issues that arise from the Fold’s dual-display layout.

It seems Samsung has rolled out a new update (1.0.01.17) for the Home Up Good Lock module. It brings the option for users to customize the Share Menu on their devices. Now that’s a pretty sweet customization option to have.
