[Updated] Samsung One UI 4.0 (Android 12) update developments to allegedly be revealed next week, hints leaker

Samsung reportedly started the development of its Android 12 update last month. Also, with the One UI 3.5 update out of the way, it is also being speculated that the One UI 4.0 (Android 12) update rollout might be quicker.

Now, some more information has come to light regarding Samsung’s Android 12 update.

As per popular leaker, Ice Universe, Samsung might reveal its One UI 4.0 (Android 12) update developments next week.

It must be noted that the same leaker earlier stated on Twitter that the OEM will reveal the said update in July.

The latest info about Samsung’s Android 12 update comes from the leaker’s Weibo post and is in sync with the earlier tweet.

However, nothing is clear as of now since Samsung has not provided any details on the development of its One UI 4.0 custom skin.

Thus only time will tell whether Ice Universe’s claims are true or not. Another thing to note is that popular Twitter user Max Weinbach also supported Ice Universe’s claims regarding One UI 3.5 and One UI 4.0.

So, it is quite possible that the OEM might unveil the next version of its custom skin based on Android 12 next week.

It was also reported back in June that Samsung might hold its Developer Conference (SDC) this year where One UI 4.0 might be unveiled.

However, all this is still based on speculation as no official comments have been made on the matter so far.

Hopefully, the OEM sheds some more light on the matter or better yet, reveal its upcoming Android 12 update as per the said schedule.

IST 06:35 pm: According to a recent report from the leaker, Ice Universe, the One UI 4.0 announcement might be delayed and may not come out this week as reported earlier. However, all this is still based on speculation.
