Samsung announced the S10 line up on February 2019 and very soon Pre-orders started commencing and the device being available to retail from March 8,2019. Samsung is known for manufacturing innovative flagship smartphones, and the S10 family surely didn’t disappoint either.
Galaxy S10 & S10+ incorporate Exynos 9820 chipset, while the variants sold in the US, China and South America are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The devices more or less have same specs, leaving aside visual difference of Galaxy S10+ 6.4 inches display compared to S10’s 6.1 inches.
Galaxy S10+ on the other hand, acquires a larger battery of 4100 mAh, while Galaxy S10 comes with a 3400 mAh battery with considerably smaller screen. The other aspect where S10+ edges over the Galaxy S10 is it has a second 8 MP front facing camera which the S10 doesn’t have.
Samsung has encouraged potential customers overtime to take possession of their devices with attractive deals. In an effort to attract business, Samsung’s latest offerings are $200 discount on Galaxy S10 and S10+ 512 GB variant.
Not only that, the 1 TB variant of Galaxy S10+ is available at a discounted price of $300 at the company’s official US website.
FYI these discount are available on the Unlocked variants, as well as all other carrier-specific variants, except for US Cellular which doesn’t have the Galaxy S10+ 1 TB variant in stock at the moment. Although it might be available at a later stage if stock kicks in, but we can’t be sure.
At the moment, the discount looks like a great deal, if you are in US and planning on get hands on a Galaxy S10/S10+ device, this is the opportunity to make the most of it. Sadly, the discount doesn’t apply to Galaxy S10e.
