Samsung’s One UI 3.0 (Android 11) public beta program has already started in Korea while devices in the US are also getting the same update i.e. version ZTJ3.
However, reports suggest that currently only the Galaxy S20 series devices are getting the public beta update and the wait is still on for the likes of Galaxy Note 20 and Note 10 series.
While there is no ETA for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 10 One UI 3.0 (Android 11) public beta rollout, the update might arrive soon.
As per the Samsung Care Ambassador, the Galaxy Note 20 series devices might be receiving the One UI 3.0 public beta sooner than expected.
Also, it appears that the public beta enrollment is full for the devices in question which suggests that the rollout is imminent.
I have a hunch that #OneUI3Beta is coming sooner than expected for the Note 20 line. I had an enrollment banner that opened but said was full. (And if it thought I was using the wrong device, it would state that it’s the wrong device.)
As for the Galaxy Note 10 series devices, the beta development appears to be underway as a Samsung Community member has posted screenshots of the test builds.
This means that the OEM might be in the final stages of the One UI 3.0 beta development for the devices in question but this is still based on our speculations.
However, the same cannot be said for one of the devices from the Galaxy S20 series i.e. the Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition).
It seems that the OEM is not yet developing the One UI 3.0 (Android 11) update for the Galaxy S20 FE which is a tad odd considering the device is eligible for three OS updates.
Also, it shares more or less the same specs as the standard Galaxy S20 which is among the very first devices to receive the beta versions of the latest update.
While it is unclear why Samsung is not developing One UI 3.0 for the Galaxy S20 FE yet, it will still be getting the latest update in the future.
The S20FE is not even in active development for OneUI 3. Many have asked. It isn’t coming within the first wave.
That said, we will keep tracking the development of One UI 3.0 (Android 11) so be sure to check out our dedicated tracker for the same.
Moreover, we have curated a consolidated Android 11 update tracker for all major OEMs and carriers so be sure to go through it as well.
