Samsung appears to have released Android 11 to most eligible devices from its portfolio and has left a few other OEMs in the dust. More on that here.
It began seeding the One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 to the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 models last year and recently even started sending out the One UI 3.1 update to some devices directly.
It recently also began rolling out One UI 3.1 for the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note 10 models in some regions as we had reported earlier.
And now it’s time for Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ users in Canada to get a taste of the new One UI 3.1 flavor (based on Android 11) from Samsung.
This isn’t a surprise since Fido had earlier revealed that the Galaxy Note 10+ will be getting Samsung’s new skin on March 23.
The update is rolling out to the Note 10 duo from carriers such as TELUS, Rogers, Fido, and Koodo as well as for unlocked models as per SamMobile’s database.
It carries the firmware version number N97xWVLU6FUBH and brings the March 2021 security patch as well.
Since the Galaxy Note 10 and 10+ bagged the One UI 3.0 update already, you won’t see a drastic change after installing the One UI 3.1 update on your device.
That said, you’ll find a few new features and improvements especially in the Camera application.
With the update now live for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+, Galaxy S10, S10e, and S10+ users in Canada can also look forward to getting the update on March 30.
So stay tuned to our dedicated tracker to know more about the availability of One UI 3.1 for all eligible devices from the company.
