Good news for the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo and Galaxy J8 users, as various models of both the smartphones, was spotted running Android 10 in WiFi-Alliance certification.
Different models of Galaxy J7 Duo which includes, SM-J720F, SM-J720F/DS, SM-J720M, SM-J720M/DS and Galaxy J8 that includes, SM-J810F, SM-J810Y/DS, SM-J810Y, SM-J810M, SM-J810F/DS, SM-J810G/DS, SM-J810GF/DS, and SM-J810M/DS, were WFA certified.
If we go by the Android 10 (One UI 2.0) roadmap shared by Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo and Galaxy J8 are slated to pick up the said update somewhere in July 2020.
And now as per a recent report, different models of Galaxy J7 and J8 showing up on the WiFi-Alliance certification gives us a clue that the Korean smartphone giant is done baking the Android 10 update for both the devices and should soon push the updates for both the phones.

Samsung has been right at the top, sitting beside some of the brands like Google and OnePlus when it comes to rolling out the latest Android OS updates or security updates for its devices.
Moreover, the company has already updated its flagship Galaxy S-series and Galaxy Note series devices with the latest Android 10 update, and some of them have even got the One UI 2.1 update as well. But these recent reports related to Galaxy J7 Duo and Galaxy J8 running Android 10, gives the users an indication that the update is right around the corner.
However, one thing our readers should note that WiFi-Alliance certification itself is not a confirmation that the devices will pick up the update. It merely depicts that Samsung has made some progress in that front.
