Samsung Galaxy Fold came out in September 2019 with Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box but the wait was on for Android 11-based One UI 3.0.

To recall, the successor to the Galaxy Fold i.e., Galaxy Fold 2, bagged the latest OS update pretty recently.

Now, the OEM has started rolling out the One UI 3.0 (Android 11) update for the Galaxy Fold LTE and 5G variants as well.

While the OEM has not made any announcements on the matter yet, the latest OS update is indeed live for the device in question.

As per a report from Sammobile, the update comes with versions F900FXXU4DUA1 and F907BXXU4DUA1 for the LTE and 5G variants respectively.

It must be noted that the said update is currently live for the Galaxy Fold units sold in the UK, UAE, and France.

It is quite possible that other regional variants of the device in question might also be getting the same sooner than later.

However, this is still based on our speculations as user reports are yet surface along with some sort of official acknowledgement from the OEM.

The Galaxy Fold bagged the Android 10-based One UI 2.1 update way back in March 2020 and was getting the monthly security updates till now.

Nevertheless, the OEM has listed the Galaxy Fold in its three major OS updates plan which makes the latest OS update the second last one for the device.

That said, we will keep tracking the development of Android 11 and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
