This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..
Original story (from February 29) follows:
Samsung has already updated some of its handsets with the OneUI 2.0 (Android 10), such as Galaxy S10, S10e, S10+, Note 10, Note 10+ and more. It now appears that the Korean company would soon push out Galaxy A6 One UI 2.0 update.
Recently, Galaxy A6 devices were spotted to have been certified with the Wi-Fi Alliance certificate. The certificate mentions the operation system of the said device as Android 10.
A point to note is that the Wi-Fi Alliance certification in no way means that the Galaxy A6 One UI 2.0 update in imminent in the near future. However, it does suggest that Samsung is making progress in issuing an update for the device.
The Wi-Fi Alliance certificate seemingly lists six Galaxy A6 devices, carrying code names SM-A600P, SM-A600T, SM-A600A, SM-A600U, SM-A600T1 and SM-A600AZ. All these devices, as per the certificate, got the certification yesterday.
Several Samsung devices got the same Wi-Fi certification last week as well, including Galaxy A9 and more.
Along with Samsung phones, devices from other manufacturers also got the Wi-Fi Alliance certificate recently. For instance, devices from Oppo, Huawei, HMD Global, and TINNO got the certification in the past few days.
Talking of Galaxy A6, Samsung announced the device in May 2018. The handset features a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED 18.5:9 display and 16MP cameras (both front and back).
Samsung’s Galaxy A6 is equipped with similar security features – such as facial recognition, Samsung Knox and fingerprint sensors – as found on Samsung flagships.
