New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on December 23, 2020) follows:

Android 11 was officially unveiled back in September and we’ve seen development and testing of Android 11 skins from various Android OEMs since then.

Three months later and now, many of these OEMs have managed to roll out stable builds of their Android 11-based skins to a few eligible devices, mostly their flagships.

Not to be left behind, Korean tech giant and the world’s biggest smartphone vendor, Samsung, has been steadily working on its Android 11-based custom Android skin, One UI 3.0.

At the time of writing, stable builds of One UI 3.0 are available and rolling out to users of the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series of devices.

We’ve also seen some Android 11 activity in the company’s mid-range Galaxy A-series of devices as test builds of Galaxy A70 have been spotted.

Well today, users of the Galaxy A51 5G are in luck as the company is reportedly kicking off the Android 11 Beta program for this device.

Screenshots shared on the company’s Korean community forums seem to show what is believed to be a release statement and changelog for Android 11-based One UI 3.0 Beta update build for the Galaxy A51 5G.

If these reports are indeed true, then the Galaxy A51 5G will be the first non-flagship Samsung device to officially get an Android 11 Beta build.

This could also mean that the Galaxy A51 5G is well on its way to a stable release of One UI 3.0 soon and that should excite owners of this device.

Also, important to note is that these reports only apply to the 5G variant of the Galaxy A51. We still don’t know the fate of the 4G variant of this device but our guess is, it should follow pretty soon.
