Samsung Galaxy A42 5G came out in November 2020 with Android 10 out-of-the-box. It bagged the update to One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 back in March.
Now, the Galaxy A42 5G is getting the May security update in Greece, UK, Germany, and Italy as version A426BXXU2BUE1.
The May security update version A426USQU2AUE2 is also rolling out to the Verizon Galaxy A42 5G variant.
As per the Verizon Samsung Galaxy A42 5G Software Update page, the latest update brings native screen recorder support.
Also, there are enhancements to Quick Share that make it easier to share files with Android devices.

However, this is still based on our speculation as no comments have been made on the matter so far.
