Rocket League glitch where players can't unlock Car Collector, Drop In The Bucket, or Stocked trophies on PS4 still persists, no ETA for fix

Popular vehicular football game, Rocket League, has been available on PlayStation 4 since 2015. Millions play Rocket League across different platforms making one of the most popular football games.

However, Rocket League players on PS4 have been facing some issues preventing them from collecting several trophies in the game.

Been playing RL for quite some time now on my PS4, have unlocked all the trophies but one : Stocked (collect 150 items). Keep getting items everyday but this trophy hasn’t come my way. Im 500+ matches already with around 50 hours in game. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Any clue as to what is going on an when/how will I get the trophy? All my friends who started playing with me have earned that trophy.

As per multiple reports, the Stocked trophy along with the Car Collector and Drop In The Bucket trophies are glitched in Rocket League.

This glitch has been around for quite, with reports as old as from 2020. Also, Rocket League Help even escalated the problem to the development team back in November 2020. However, a fix is yet to arrive.

Cut to now, PS4 owners are still reporting about the glitched Stocked trophy along with Car Collector in Rocket League.

Moreover, Rocket League Help has once again said that they are aware of this problem with trophies and are still working to resolve it.

It is, however, unclear as to why it is taking so long to resolve this problem for the PS4 Rocket League port.

Players are unable to get these glitched trophies in Rocket League for PS4 which is further preventing them from progressing in the game.

However, an affected player shared a workaround to get the Car Collector trophy way back in May 2021.

The shared workaround is a bit tedious and involves unlinking the PSN and Epic Games accounts. However, it did help some affected players to get the Car Collector trophy.

So I unlinked my PSN account from my Epic Games account leaving me with a fresh Epic Games account on my PS4. Then I proceed to collect the cars naturally by doing trainings and it eventually popped for me after winning a game with the Breakout. Though I’m not sure why it happened at that exact moment, I’m pretty sure that playing on a fresh account enabled me to get it.

After this I unlinked my PSN account from my new Epic Games account and relinked my PSN to my original Epic Games account. So this required essentially making a dummy Epic Games account to get the trophy. I hope this helps someone. I got it!

Since the workaround given above is only meant for the Car Collector trophy, a proper fix for the trophies glitch is still required. Hopefully, devs will do the needful and release a fix soon.
