Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 update is out for the Redmi Note 8T global units but the wait was still on for the European variant.

It must be noted that all remaining Xiaomi devices were expected to get the latest custom skin by October-end and the Redmi Note 8T was also among them.

While the global Redmi Note 8T bagged the said update in October itself, several users noticed that the Android 10 full-screen gesture indicator was missing.

It is, however, unclear whether it is the same for the European variant or not as no such user reports have surfaced so far.

Xiaomi is constantly updating all remaining eligible devices with MIUI 12 which clearly shows the OEM’s dedication but the wait is still on for a few devices.

Nevertheless, it is unclear how long it will take Xiaomi to deliver the latest custom skin to the remaining devices.

That said, we will provide more details once new information becomes available so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
