Realme was one of the first OEMs to announce their Android 11 beta plans. The company’s current flagship, the Realme X50 Pro was first in line to get the Android 11 beta 1 update. However, this update wasn’t carried forward to the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition.
Both smartphones are basically identical apart from a few changes, especially in the camera department. Nonetheless, Realme X50 Pro Player Edition users have been waiting to get the Android 11 beta update for a few weeks. It now seems that the wait is over.
This is because the company has officially kickstarted the beta adaptation for the device in China. Realme had also begun the long-term beta testing program for Realme X2 Pro users. It’s not yet clear which device from the company will be next in line to get a long-term beta testing program.
Nonetheless, the announcement for the new Android 11 beta update was made on Realme’s Chinese community page. This update is intended towards developers and those who want to test bleeding edge software. Therefore, it is not advisable to install the update on a primary smartphone.
In the announcement, the company has provided a list of warnings for users to see before installing the update. If interested, we have the download links to all the necessary files below. Furthermore, if at some point you change your mind, you can rollback to Android 10.

The beta testing should continue for a couple of months. We can expect to see the stable Android 11 update release in Q4 2020 for the Realme X50 Pro and the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition.
