Realme isn’t done with upgrading eligible devices to Realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10 operating system. But talks of the next version of Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 are already taking over the fanbase.

Matter of fact, Realme confirmed back in March that Realme UI 2.0 was already under development. The company has also revealed that the Realme 2 Pro will miss out on this update for obvious reasons.

Another piece of information out here regarding Realme Android 11 update is about the beta registration. Apparently, the company is already taking applications from owners of the Realme X2 Pro who want to try Realme UI 2.0 beta ahead of others.

In addition to the Realme X2 Pro, we have curated a list of other Realme handsets we think will be upgraded to Android 11 when the OS arrives. You can check it out here.

Google has already detailed the many features that will be part of the new Android 11 experience. As usual, though, we expect individual vendors to include their own features and tweaks on top of AOSP.

One such optimization that Realme will be looking into with respect to Realme UI 2.0 update is the thickness of the brightness slider. Apparently, fans want it thinner and Realme has agreed to evaluate this request, although nothing is concrete so far.

Realme isn’t expected to release the stable Android 11 update until somewhere in Q4 2020 or probably even in Q1 2021. This is when we’ll get to know if this will indeed materialize, for now, take it with a pinch of salt, even if coming from Realme India CMO.
