Even after being a separate entity, Realme continues to hold on to Oppo’s ColorOS by smartly calling it Realme UI.

The feature list that we see remains the same throughout both brands except for a few extra ones on ColorOS.

Realme, in its interactive sessions, do promise or talk about considering new features but do they really make it to Realme UI?

Well, minor ones definitely make it to the devices but the company has been consistently dodging questions when it comes to AOD customizations on eligible devices, a feature that has long been in demand.

One of the good things to talk about Realme is these QnA sessions where user queries are answered directly by the devs, revealing information related to future feature additions.

In the recent QnA with devs, queries related to wallpapers, icons, and ringtones were answered by Realme, and here are some of the significant reveals.

MIUI-like Super Wallpapers & 3D wallpapers on Realme

Q. Will you guys provide super live wallpaper like MIUI’s super-earth and super moon in the future on Realme? because it looks great.
Dev. Hello! There is currently no plan but we will give it some thought for sure.

Q. Will we receive some amazing relaxing music or many other types with amazing 3D wallpapers?
Dev. Hello! I will reply to the questions about today’s topic: there currently is no plan for 3D wallpapers and icons on Realme UI- we are going for a more flat design – but we will give it some thought.

Ringtone maker based on mood

Q.Any plans on adding the Ringtones Maker to realme UI? (Where we can customize the base ringtones according to our needs based on mood)
Dev. For the ringtone maker there currently is no plan but we will consider it – plenty of users are asking.

Q.In colorOS 11 we have seen ringtone maker but it is not available in realme UI 2.0. so when can we expect to come in realme UI 2.0 ?

Dev. For the ringtone maker there currently is no plan but we will consider it – plenty of users are asking.

Realme may not have immediate plans but this is something that can be considered. ColorOS 11 has the ringtone maker feature so it shouldn’t be a hectic task for Realme to add this to Realme UI 2.0.

Other than this, some bugs are also being faced by users, specifically in the default alert tones of apps. Here’s what a user complains about.

Q. In realme UI 2.0 I have noticed that, the default alert tones of the applications are missing, instead what we selected from the settings are playing in every application’s notification, and we don’t have any default option over there.

Dev. We will look into it – it has been reported by several users and we are aware of it.

Realme is evolving at a great pace and improvements are visible. Hope the newly sought-after features also make it to Realme UI soon since a lot of users want it.
