Realme Narzo 10 and Realme Narzo 10A came out in May 2020 with Android 10-based Realme UI 1.0 out-of-the-box.

Both devices are expected to get the Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 Early Access version in February and March 2021.

However, users of the Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A have been experiencing hanging/freezing problems after getting the December security update.

There are multiple reports on the Realme community which suggest that the issue is widespread but the OEM has not yet acknowledged the same on a larger scale.

In fact, Realme device team members have been responding to individual reports with generic troubleshooting steps.

While most reports came to light after the December security update, it seems that freezing/hanging problems were present on the Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A even before that.

Realme has not made any comments on the issue so far but considering that a lot of users are affected, the OEM needs to address the problem on a wider scale.

The freezing/hanging problem occurs randomly during calls and also after hanging up. Moreover, users have stated that they can get their devices to work only after a hard reboot.

Apart from that, several users have also stated that they are experiencing touch and lagging issues after the December update.

This further indicates that both devices might be heavily affected because of a faulty software update.

Nevertheless, all this is based on our speculation and nothing is confirmed until the OEM sheds more light on the matter.
