Original story (from June 12) follows:

Regular security updates are incredibly important on Android and any other operating system for that matter as they offer proactive protection from malicious exploits that might want to take advantage of system vulnerabilities.

As such, many OEMs strive to roll out regular security patches to the Android system on their devices. Some devices get these updates monthly while others get them less frequently. Realme is not slacking in this regard.

These devices have been pretty well updated throughout their lifetime. Both Realme 3 and Realme 3i got the update to the much-awaited Android 10 build back in April, much to the delight of users who were on edge about this.

We can only hope that more and more OEMs continue to roll out regular security patches to their devices as this adds up to build a more secure Android ecosystem.

Update 1 (June 17)

Realme 3 and Realme 3i June update download links have been taken down from the official software update page, so you may not find the device names listed. But the rollout hasn’t been suspended. Here’s what one of the device team’s member recently said on the community:

Hey, the Manual Download Link from the site had been taken down. It will be restored soon. The update rollout has not been stopped.

Thanks for the tip Aryan!
