Razer Synapse is a unified cloud-based hardware setup tool that elevates your Razer devices, so you can get an edge over others. It almost does everything from designing efficient macros to rebinding buttons on your device.

The tool also receives regular updates that boost the performance of various devices and introduce new features.

However, it’s not likely that these updates are immune to various bugs and issues. For instance, we saw how the mapping and connectivity issues came to light after the v3.7.731.72516 update.

Razer Synapse crashing, not opening or stuck in boot loop

Some Razer Synapse users have taken to social media platforms (1,2,3,4) and the community forum to report an issue where it keeps crashing or is not opening for them.

Does anyone know how to fix razer synapse crashing every time it launches? I’ve tried reinstalling, disabling antivirus, firewall, installed latest .Net. I really do not know what else I can do.

After the latest update my Synapse has completely stopped working. I’ve tried all the fixes I could find online and now the app won’t even reinstall and is stuck on 99% on the installation app.

For some, the tool is even getting stuck in an endless boot loop (a perpetual spinning wheel). What adds to the frustration is the fact that the reinstallation also doesn’t fix the issue.

Affected users have tried reinstalling the software and even the windows but to no avail. Sometimes, the installation process gets stuck at 100% too.

Nothing is working for the users at the moment and it appears to have popped up after the recent v20230216 update.

Unfortunately, the Razer Synapse team has not acknowledged the crashing issues with the software but we hope they come up with a fix soon.

There is also no workaround that can help resolve the crashes or the frequent boot loop temporarily.

That said, we will keep tabs on the latest developments and update this article as and when anything noteworthy comes up.
