Rainbow Six Siege has been around for numerous platforms for quite some time. Also, the tactical shooter game arrived on Google Stadia pretty recently.
However, Stadia users have been facing an issue with the crossplay functionality in Rainbow Six Siege.
As per multiple reports, Rainbow Six Siege players on Stadia are unable to play with those on other platforms like PC.
While the crossplay function works for those on Stadia, there is currently no way for players on PC or other platforms to play with Stadia users.
It seems Ubisoft Connect is also not working in this case as players are unable to invite their friends join the party.
me and my friend want to play R6 together. Only problem is… we can’t seem to figure out how to join into eachothers party. I am playing on PC and he plays on Stadia. Does anybody know how to join Squads with crossplay.

I’m trying to figure out how to join a R6 party with me playing on pc and my dad playing on stadia. We have each other friended on both stadia and Ubisoft though I play through the pc version and him on stadia version. There seems to be no menu that allows us to invite each other.

A Reddit user reported that it is possible for users to play with friends on platforms like Luna and PC if they can grab Rainbow Six Siege Delux Edition with Stadia Pro.
Just posted this in another thread, I would suggest you quickly (sale ends in ~1 hr) go sign up for Stadia Pro free trial and buy R6 Deluxe edition which is on sale for $10. And for $10 you now can play it on PC with M/K and team up with your Dad. It’s not going to be as good as your PC but will afford you two some fun times till the update happens (if it does).

While the same is also mentioned in the Stadia Community blog post, many players are still facing the issue with the Rainbow Six Siege crossplay function.
However, Stadia users may not have dwell with the said problem for long as a fix might be on its way.
Stadia support recently said that they are aware of this issue and are working with Ubisoft to resolve it.
The acknowledgements, however, does not include any ETA for the said fix so it is unclear how long it will take to arrive.
Hopefully, Stadia and Ubisoft resolve the said problem soon so that players can enjoy Rainbow Six Siege with their friends on other platforms.
We really appreciate trying to look for ways to play with your friends from other platforms. We’re already looking into this with our partner publisher and we’re working on a fix. Thanks for bearing with us.
