New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on March 24, 2022) follows:

Rainbow Six Siege is one of the few games where communication is key. The ultra-competitive first-person online multiplayer shooting title was published by Ubisoft back in 2015.

But despite its age and declining player base, developers recently introduced a new operator and made some balance changes with the start of Year 7 Demon Veil a few days ago.

But ever since the start of the season just over a week ago, players have reported several bugs and issues such as the mute option no longer working with the mic button grayed out and broken directional audio, missing SFX, and infinite gunshot glitch on consoles.

And as if these weren’t troubling enough, Rainbow Six Siege players are now saying that Battle Pass challenges are not working or progressing (1,2,3,4,5).

Players said they waited for hours if the challenges were updating but to no avail. Generic troubleshooting steps such as verifying game files and restarting the game are not helping either.

The problem seems to be angering a lot of players since they are unable to collect the rewards associated with the Battle Pass challenges. You can read below what some Rainbow Six Siege players have to say about the issue.

With reports coming from those playing the game on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, it looks like something is wrong on Ubisoft’s end.

Unfortunately, Rainbow Six Siege developers are yet to acknowledge the issue where Battle Pass challenges are not working or progressing for some. We hope they find out the reason as to why this is happening and resolve it as soon as possible.

Rest assured, we will be keeping an eye out on the matter and update this as and when we come across more information so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
