If you have been wondering why query.yahooapis.com and weather.yahooapis.com have become inaccessible, then we have the answer for you. Both these services have been retired by Yahoo.
As per official information by the Yahoo Developer Network, the company pulled the plug for both these services on January 03. The announcement in this regard was made on December 31.

Aside from these, the company has also shut down the Yahoo Classic Mail. Announcement for this was made in early December.
Starting January 31, 2019, the Classic version of Yahoo Mail will no longer be available. At that time, you’ll be upgraded to the latest version of Yahoo Mail or Basic Mail, depending on your browser’s compatibility
