PMIS (PUBG Mobile India Series) 2020 is a massive scale online eSports competition. It features teams coming from all over India to determine which team is the best PUBG Mobile team in the country. The winners will be rewarded with a prize pool of INR 50 Lakh and the ultimate bragging rights of calling themselves the best of the best.

The qualifiers for PMIS 2020 began yesterday on 17th June 2020. A total of 256 teams showed up for round 1 and they were divided into 16 groups of 16 even teams. Yesterday Day 1 of Round 1 was held with 3 participating groups.

PUBG

A total of 6 intense matches(best of 2 in each group) were held on the first day of Round 1. The top 3 teams from each match were selected to proceed further for the PMIS quarter finals. Following are the results :

Day 1 : Match 1

After the exhilarating first match of Day 1, team Infinite Warriors topped the group with a total of 38 points and 1 well deserved Chicken Dinner. The following two spots were taken up by team Shikari eSports and Team Bope with 37 and 32 respectively. Following is the standout chart for Match 1.

Day 1 : Match 2

From the best of the next 2 matches, team Fate Esports came out on top with 56 points and 1 Chicken Dinner. Fate was followed by team Zlevenesports and team LiveCraft eSports. They managed to earn 37 and 32 points respectively. Following is the standout chart for Match 2.

Day 1 : Match 3

In the final match of the first day of Round 1, team VSG Crawlers emerged on the peak with 46 points and 1 Chicken Dinner. TeamBigFans and team HYP Gaming took the 2nd and 3rd position with 42 and 25 points respectively. Following is the standout chart for Match 3.

With that, Day 1 came to its conclusion. When they are through with the qualifiers, a total of 64 teams will proceed further and participate in the PMIS quarterfinals. Only one band of dedicated PUBG players will earn the title of PMIS 2020 winners and the whooping 20 Lakh first place prize money.
