Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic are the latest entries in the OEM’s smartwatch portfolio.
Both smartwatches run Samsung’s One UI Watch based on Wear OS 3 and offer some serious specs and health tracking features.
Among them, the historic measurement tracking of VO2 Max, blood pressure, SpO2, irregular heartbeats, sleep tracking, and body composition.
While these features can only be used on Samsung smartphones via the Health Monitor app, the standard Health app from Samsung also offers an incredible amount of info for the Galaxy Watch 4 series.
Users of the Galaxy Watch 4 series are already talking about how many parameters the Health app shows for the smartwatches.
The amount of information you see after a run is incredible (Galaxy Watch 4)

These include running/walking path, stats for pace, elevation, cadence, and heart rate, Heart rate zones, Splits, Advanced running metrics, and much more.
It must be noted that these tracking statistics are shown in the Health app for every single fitness activity performed with the Galaxy Watch 4.
Such amount of information can really excite fitness enthusiasts but it can also be a bit overwhelming for regular users.
It is commendable how Samsung is exploiting the hardware on its latest smartwatch series by providing in-depth tracking stats via the Health app.
However, there is always scope for improvement like adding metrics that can currently only be tracked via the Samsung Health Monitor app to the Health app.
On the other hand, providing too much information can also be a bit inconveniencing for those who are not too much into fitness.
So, is the amount of information shown in the Health app for the Galaxy Watch 4 is adequate or not? Also, should Samsung tone down the amount of data shown in the Health app?
Feel free to let us know what you think by casting your vote on the poll below and/or by dropping a comment. That said, we will be back with the poll results after a week.
