A new update for Pokemon Go has started rolling out. The new update bears version number 0.163.0. However, for Apple users, the update bears version number 1.129 and can be downloaded from the official App Store.
Pokemon Go update 0.163.0 is bringing a lot of new features to the game. With Pokemon Go update 0.163.0, Team Go Rocket Battles will now remember the last used Battle Party. This is saved for each Team Go Rocket Grunt type & each Team Go Rocket leader.
Pokemon Go update 0.163.0 has also added a new loading screen to the game which features the following Pokemon: Snorlax, Munchlax, Psyduck, Eevee, Pikachu & many others. Also, Super Rocket Radar is no longer a deletable item and will not count towards bag space.
Pokemon Go update 0.163.0 has also introduced a new Buddy v2 feature to the game, which adds new ways to interact with Buddy Pokemon. The latest update has also fixed many lingering issues & bugs. Players will be happy as the latest update has fixed Adventure Sync Stability issues. Mentioned below are all the bug fixes that have been incorporated in the latest update.
- Improved considerable lag when selecting a Battle Party before combat or through Pokémon storage party tab
- Fixed some Adventure Sync stability issues
- Clicking the link to enable Adventure Sync on the fitness rewards screen now leads to the settings menu
- Fixed Team GO Rocket music issues
- Right-to-left languages now appear correctly when appraising a Pokémon
Apart from that, Virizion will start appearing in raids from December 17, 2019, at 1 am PST and will stay live in the game until January 7, 2020, at 1 pm PST. Virizion will come in raids with Raid Boss CP of 39601, and is super weak against flying-type Pokemon and is also vulnerable to Psychic, Fairy, Fire, Ice, and Poison-type Pokemon.
Lugia and Ho-Oh are also returning for a Special Raid Weekend. They will appear in raids from December 20, 2019, at 1 pm PST and will stay live in the game until December 23, 2019, at 1 pm PST. The shiny version of both these Pokemon are available in the game.
