Pokemon Sword & Shield’s new Expansion Pass, the Isle of Armor, has arrived & it has brought a lot of new content to the game. Many new characters & Pokemon have been added to the game under the Isle of Armor DLC.
The game was launched on November 15, 2019, & it has received its first expansion pass Isle of Armor today. Another expansion pass, The Crown Tundra will be made available later.
To mark the celebration & release of the Isle of Armor DLC, Galarian Farfetch’d is set to make its debut in Pokemon GO. In addition, players can also get avatar items based on Galarian Farfetch’d theme. Starting from June 17, 2020, at 6 am, it will start appearing in the wild.
It will stay available in the game until Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 6:00 a.m. PDT. So, if you are a fan of Galarian Farfetch’d stack your Pokeballs. Also, Isle of Armor based clothing & avatar items will be available for Pokemon GO players at no cost. You get them by visiting the Style Shop.
In related news, Pokemon’s official Twitter handle has revealed that Mega Evolution will arrive in Pokemon GO in 2020. However, no date has been announced for it yet. You have can have a look at the official tweet down below.
Today, three new games have also been announced for Pokemon fans. The list of games includes Pokemon Smile, Pokemon Snap, & Pokemon Cafe Mix. Among these three, Pokemon Snap is only available on the Nintendo Switch platform.
However, Pokemon Smile & Cafe Mix will be made available both on the Nintendo Switch & smart devices. Pokemon Smile encourages children to brush their teeth in Pokemon style. The official description of the game reads as follows: By using your smart device’s camera to play the game, children can brush their teeth to rescue Pokémon that have been captured by cavity-causing bacteria. Children will be excited to save their Pokémon friends.
