Pokemon Go : Spotlight Hour for May 5 features Shellder & Altered Forme Giratina Raid Hour coming on May 6

Pokemon Go players can rejoice as another Spotlight hour is taking place today. Niantic has already shared the schedule of all the Spotlight Hours for the month of May. One featured Pokemon will spawn more frequently under the Spotlight Hour.

Today’s Spotlight Hour will take place at 6:00 pm in your local time zone and will feature both a Pokémon and a special bonus. Shellder will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Stardust for catching Pokémon.

Apart from this, 1 Pokecoin Bundle has been updated with new items. The new bundle will stay available for the game until Monday, May 11, 2020, at 1 pm PDT. The contents of these bundles change weekly, you can check the new content down below.

• Poké Balls × 20
• Razz Berries × 15
• Pinap Berries × 10

Raid Hour is also coming back this week, & it features Altered Forme Giratina. Now, the ability to raid remotely is available to Trainers level 5 and up. With a Remote Raid Pass, players can join a Raid Battle that you can see on the Nearby screen or tap on the map. If you’d like to give raiding remotely a try during Raid Hour, you can pick up a Remote Raid Pass in the shop.

Altered Forme Giratina will be available in Raids on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, from 6 pm to 7 pm in your local time zone. During that day, Raid Battles featuring Altered Forme Giratina will be happening more frequently.

How to get a Remote Raid Pass

• Open the Pokémon GO app.
• Tap the Poké Ball icon, and then tap Shop.
• Scroll down to the Items section.
• From there, you can get one Remote Raid Pass for 100 PokéCoins. Please note that if you have three or more Remote Raid Passes in your Item Bag, you won’t be able to acquire more.
