Pokemon Go is one of the biggest Augmented Reality based games of all time. With millions of players worldwide, the game will stay relevant in the foreseeable future.
Developed by Niantic in collaboration with Nintendo and The Pokemon Company, Pokemon Go was released in 2016.
The game encourages players to go out in the real world and find points of interest. Thanks to Niantic constantly dishing out new content, Pokemon Go players always have something new to look out for.
Nonetheless, players always encounter bugs and issues, with a recent bug causing visual glitches when encountering a Galar region Pokemon.
A few days ago, Niantic had acknowledged an issue where trainers couldn’t encounter Shiny Unown from August 3 to August 4.
To compensate for the same, developers gave players a free box in the ‘Shop for Trainers’ who participated in the Unown raid. The box is redeemable before September 27.
Now, Pokemon Go players are reporting a bug with the Shiny Unown compensation box. Many say that they are not able to see any box in the ‘Shop for Trainers.’
When a player raised the issue with Niantic, the company allegedly said that he is not eligible for the items.
It is really frustrating for players who were looking forward to collecting the compensation for the Shiny Unown raid bug.
