Pokemon GO – The popular augmented reality game for mobile devices is all set to launch its Halloween event. Nintendo teased the event earlier as well and now we have full details of what to expect from the event.
The new Halloween event kicks off on October 17, 2019 at 1 PM PDT and ends on November 1, 2019 at 1 PM PDT. The event brings new content into the game and players chance to catch all new Pokemon!
The new event will feature more Pokemons to be saved from Team GO Rocket. Players can now rescue different Pokemons from Team GO Rocket at PokeStops. The Pokemons namely – Weedle, Kakuna, Beedrill, Electabuzz, Magmar, Lapras, Mareep, Seedot, Nuzleaf, Sableye, Trapinch, Cacnea, Shuppet, and Duskull can now be saved from the grunts of Pokemon GO Rocket.
The new event also comes with new outfits for your Pokemons. Zubat Bag, a Pikachu Onesie, a Cubone Cap, a Litwick Cap, and a Mimikyu Bag is available in the style shop. Make your Pokemons Halloween ready with these outfits.
The event will also feature a new Pokemon – Shiny Yamask. You’ll be lucky to find one during the event. The event will also feature a spike in Ghost and dark type Pokemons. The Pokemon will appear more in the wild, in Eggs and also in the raids.
Ghastly, Murkrow and other Pokemons will be found easily in the game. Also, Yamask – The Spirit Pokemon is debuting in the event as well. The Pokemon in the wild or in the raids will also be wearing different costumes.
You may find Bulbasaur wearing Shedinja costumes, Charmander wearing Cubone costumes, and Squirtle wearing Yamask costumes in the raids. While in the wild, make sure to look for Pikachu wearing Mimikyu costume. If you are in luck you may find a shiny Pokemon as well!
In the event, Darkrai will be also making its debut in the event. Although, Darkrai will only be available in the 5 star raids. The event also features some frightening tasks and also make sure to check the Special Research to face off a Forbidden Pokemon!
