Apart from this, Pokemon Go iOS players have been facing crashing issues for the last two weeks. There are several reports on the Pokemon Go community subreddit (TheSilphRoad). Well, this issue was not addressed by Niantic even after complaints from many players.
But there is good news for players, Niantic has now added this as a known issue on their blog page. The official issue description from Niantic reads as follows: We are investigating reports of increased App crashes for Trainers on iOS devices.
It has been further mentioned that the issue will be fixed in the next update. However, Niantic has not specified when the new update will roll out. Pokemon Go trainers on iOS are unhappy with Niantic as it took a week for them to acknowledge the issue.
One of the trainer with the name, PuggMonster said that this is totally unacceptable, as all Apple users have to wait for over a week to run the app without crashing. On the other hand, other apps patch the issue within a day or two. Have a look at his statement down below.
